COFFEE AND WALNUTS CAKE. / TORT CU CAFEA SI NUCI.



A delicious cake infused with espresso coffee,very light and easy to prepare.
  Un tort delicios insiropat cu cafea,foarte delicat si usor de preparat.


Ingredients. / Ingrediente.

For the cake / pentru pandispan:

225g unsalted butter / 225 g unt nesarat
225g sugar / 225g zahar
4 eggs / 4 oua
50ml strong espresso coffee / 50ml cafea tare
225g flour / 225g faina
75g walnuts / 75g nuci maruntite
1tsp baking powder / 1 ligurita praf de copt

For the cream topping / pentru crema:

600ml wipped cream / 600ml frisca
100g icing sugar / 100g zahar pudra
coffee extract / esenta cafea
grated chocolate,to decorate / ciocolate rasa,pentru decorat.

Preparation method / modul de preparare:

*Preheat the oven to 180C. / Incalziti cuptorul la 180C.

*In a bowl,beat the butter and sugar together until very light an pale. / Intr-un bol, mixati untul si zaharul impreuna pina se incorporeaza totul.

*Add the eggs one at a time to the butter and sugar mixture,beating well to completely incorporate each egg before adding the next egg. / Adaugati ouale cite unul pe rind in toata compozitia,mixati complet fiecare ou inainte de a adauga urmatorul.

*Add the espresso to the mixture and stir well. / Adaugati cafeaua in compozitie si amestecati bine.

*Add the flour,baking powder and walnuts and stir well to completely combine. / Adaugati faina,praful de copt si nucile si amestecati bine pina s-a incorporat toata compozitia.

*Spoon the cake mixture into a lined and greased cake tins. / Turnati toata compozitia intr-o tava rotunda,unsa in prealabil cu putin unt sau tapetata cu hirtie de copt.

*Transfer to the oven to bake for 30-35 minutes,or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean and the cake is golden-brown. / Puneti tava la cuptor si coaceti pentru 30-35 minute,verificati cu o scobitoare daca pandispanul e copt.

*Remove the cake from the oven and leave to cool. / Cind pandispanul e copt,lasati la racorit.

*For the cream topping,beat the wipped cream and icing sugar together in a small until thick./ Pentru crema,mixati frisca si zaharul pudra intr-un bol pina s-a ingrosat.

*Add the coffee extract and mix well. / Adaugati esenta de cafea si amestecati bine.

*Spread the cream over the top of each cake,then place one cake on top of the other. / Impartiti pandispanul in 2, si incepeti sa asamblati cu crema.

*Decorate the top of the cake with the grated chocolate. / Decorati tortul cu ciocolata rasa.
